The 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival marked a record-breaking edition, cementing its status as the world’s largest in-water boat show. This year, the event showcased 711 boats ranging from 5 to 50 metres, with 677 exhibitors and close to 56,000 visitors attending. Of these vessels, 538 were motorboats, while the sailing side featured 128 new yachts, complemented by 88 catamarans (65 sailing and 23 power). The show also premiered 181 world-firsts, including 147 boats and 34 pieces of equipment, highlighting its role as a launchpad for global yacht innovation.
The exhibition was split between Cannes’ Vieux Port, where 358 new motor yachts and superyachts were presented (including more than 75 over 24m), and the Sailing Area at Port Canto, which hosted a record 128 new sailing yachts over 10m, around 30 of which were world premieres. Additional highlights included the Brokers & Toys section, with 45 pre-owned yachts over 25m (three exceeding 50m), and the Power Cat Village, which featured 24 innovative power catamarans. Beyond numbers, the show also refined its layout through clearer sectorisation of motor, sailing, tenders, and toys, improving visitor experience. This edition also marked a leadership transition, as Sylvie Ernoult stepped down as festival director, with Constance Brément taking over for future editions.
