The Italian Sea Group (TISG) has launched a formal bidding process to identify potential investors as part of the Italian yacht builder’s ongoing restructuring.

The process is being managed by Meti Corporate Finance and KPMG Advisory, acting as joint financial advisers under the supervision of the company’s court-appointed commissioners. The process follows several unsolicited expressions of interest and is designed to provide prospective investors with a common framework for submitting and evaluating offers.

Among the developments surrounding the process, Sanlorenzo has confirmed its support for an offer from the promoters of Polo Nautico Carrara, a consortium seeking to acquire TISG’s entire business, with Sanlorenzo intending to take a minority stake in the acquisition vehicle. Separately, SRI Global Limited, controlled by Giulio Gallazzi and part-owned by Finvacchi, has submitted a non-binding expression of interest.

Potential transactions could involve the acquisition of the entire business, individual divisions or assets, or a share deal involving a capital increase. Assets under consideration include TISG’s shipyards in Carrara and La Spezia, as well as its Admiral, Perini Navi, Picchiotti and Tecnomar brands.

Indicative, non-binding offers are due by 15 September 2026, with binding offers currently scheduled for 15 October. Any transaction remains subject to the required corporate, regulatory and judicial approvals.
