Dutch yacht builder Heesen Yachts has revealed plans for Project Ananda, a 72-meter superyacht set to become the largest steel yacht ever built by the shipyard.

Designed in collaboration with Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, the new vessel will feature a sleek exterior profile, advanced hybrid propulsion technology, and a highly customizable layout developed through Heesen’s Smart Customplatform.

Spanning five decks, Project Ananda has been designed to combine long-range cruising capabilities with a strong emphasis on luxury, privacy, and wellness. The yacht will offer a variety of entertainment and relaxation spaces, including a swimming pool, beach club, spa facilities, and dedicated wellness areas.

Among the project’s standout features are a helipad, a hyperbaric chamber, treatment rooms, and extensive health and wellness amenities, reflecting the growing demand for wellness-focused experiences in the superyacht sector.

The interior design has been developed to maximize comfort and privacy while allowing owners to personalize key living spaces according to their individual preferences and lifestyle requirements.

Powered by a hybrid propulsion system, Project Ananda is expected to deliver improved efficiency, reduced emissions, and quiet cruising capabilities, further highlighting the industry’s ongoing shift toward more sustainable yachting solutions.

Scheduled for launch and delivery in 2030, Project Ananda represents a significant milestone for Heesen and reinforces the shipyard’s commitment to innovation, engineering excellence, and bespoke superyacht construction.
